Whilst some displays have had to cancel, 1st Woodcutts Scouts' Sixpenny Handley Firework Spectacular is ready to go this Saturday 4th November. Gates will open at 5:30pm with a children's display at 6:30pm and main display at 7:30pm. There will be plenty of things to enjoy during the evening including fete games run by the Explorer Scouts, Omni glow sales, hot dogs and burgers supplied by Clarkes the local butchers, pumpkin soup, and a bar featuring localy brewed beers and Cranborne Chase Cider.
Scout Leader and organiser of the event, Rob Easton, says "Safety will always be our number one priority. We are very lucky that the site for the display is free draining and the rain and wind has not impacted us. There might be light rain showers on the night, but wrap up, wear your wellies and enjoy our fabulous display - we have plenty of hot food to keep you warm and our most spectacular firework display yet planned for the evening - see you there!"
Now in it's 21st year, the Firework Spectacular is no ordinary village display. Over the last two decades it has grown to be the largest display in the area and his year it contains brand new effects that have only recently come to the UK and it will wow the crowds once again. Tickets Child £5, Adult £6, Family £20 on the gate or advance tickets available from Budgens Sixpenny Handley, Clarkes the Butchers and Chettle Shop. The car parking is signposted as you enter Sixpenny Handley.
On the night they will be available on the gate with cash and card payments.
