There were a total of 101 Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Leaders and members of the Active Support Unit on parade, making this the largest turn out in the group's 60 year history.
During the service the Beavers read messages they had written on poppies they had made during their recent visit to the Priest House Museum. During the visit the Beavers learnt about life in the Word Wars, handled artefacts and learnt what rationing meant.
Our thanks to members of the Parish Council who kindly organised the closure of the road, allowing the parade to happen safely.
